Fees

Cost Comparison of House Calls

The primary difference in the cost of a housecall visit is the "housecall fee" or travel fee component that a mobile veterinarian includes in the examination charge to come to your home. It provides the convenience of a vet coming directly to your house and putting both you and your pet at ease. Otherwise, charges for exams, vaccines, lab tests and other veterinary services are very comparable.

Fees

  • Examination of One Pet: $75-100 depending on distance travelled.
  • Additional Pet Examination/s: $60
  • Vaccinations: $15 - $30 each (depending on vaccine type) - this fee is  additional to the examination fee ie $70 + $15
  • Transport to Vet Hospital: Zone dependent based on distance from base for pickup and distance to drop off Vet Hospital and level of care during transport.
  • Euthanasia: $195 to $275 (Dependent on size and weight)
  • Cremation: Can be arranged through Lawnswood Pet Crematorium.
  • Burial: Can be arranged through Lawnswood Pet cemetery.
  • Transport for cremation or burial: Zone dependent but generally around $40 to $80

If you have questions about other fees, please don't hesitate to phone or email. Fees can also be discussed at the time of the home visit, and an estimate can be provided before services are performed.

All other fees are comparable to traditional veterinary hospitals in the Perth Metropolitan area.
